SPF Builder FAQ

Clear answers for SPF records, Microsoft 365 mail flow, CRM senders, and DNS publishing.

What is an SPF builder?

An SPF builder helps create a valid Sender Policy Framework TXT record by combining your current approved senders with new mail services such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, a CRM, a website, or a newsletter platform.

Can a domain have more than one SPF record?

No. A domain should publish one SPF TXT record only. Multiple SPF records can cause SPF to fail, which can hurt email delivery and weaken protection against spoofing.

What should I include in an SPF record for Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 normally requires include:spf.protection.outlook.com, but the final record must also include any other approved services that send email for the domain, such as a CRM, website, invoicing system, or marketing platform.

Will this SPF Builder update my DNS automatically?

No. The SPF Builder reads public DNS and creates a copy-ready TXT value. You still need to publish the record in your DNS hosting panel or ask ITried to confirm and publish it safely.
